"Ode to Joy"

This is Joy. She's blind. She was in a high kill shelter and this fantastic woman who runs a cat sanctuary pulled her out hours before she was to be put down. When I saw Joy she was in a box holding onto a teddy bear. I fell in love with her. I painted this for her...it's where I hope she will be very soon...with her teddy bear in a warm, soft, safe home.

  3. Paper Rainbow....when I saw her in that box holding onto the teddy bear it did the same to me...the great news is she already has a foster home and this group of people who pulled her out of the shelter are fantastic when it comes to finding homes for these cats...I believe there are already several people who want her. xn
